Access Idaho does not charge for time and materials when building web applications. Under a partnership with Idaho Information Consortium, the State of Idaho established Access Idaho to develop, support, maintain, and enhance the State's official web portal, Idaho.gov, under a self-sustaining model using no tax dollars and appropriated funds.
Access Idaho's sole business is providing outsourced services for Idaho's public entities, such as state, county and city government. The online price of items or services purchased through Idaho.gov, the State's official web portal, includes funds used to develop, maintain, enhance and expand the service offerings of the State's portal.
